SMEs play a vital role in the UK economy with 13.6 million people employed by SMEs; between 1998 – 2008 they accounted for around two thirds of job creation and generated on average 53,000 jobs per week. However, their ability to grow is constrained by various factors and the CBI would like to discuss how these issues can be addressed.

Anand is principally responsible for spearheading Pall-Ex Groups’ European expansion plan.

From the CBI, Emma Wild, Head of Group, Knowledge Economy & Markets will present on ‘Boosting private sector growth;’ the CBI’s thoughts on how medium-sized companies could help boost the UK’s economic recovery and offer a great opportunity for you to feed in your comments on the issues affecting your business.
